About Private Car Sales

WHO WE ARE: We are a woman-led Toronto-based business providing transactional support to private buyers and sellers of used cars in Canada. Our goal is to make private car selling and buying more approachable for people that are not necessarily “car people” and to customers that would normally defer to car dealers because they feel uncertain as far as cars are concerned.

WHO WE ARE NOT: We are not a dealer. Which means, we won’t buy your car or sell you a car. Dealers offer wholesale market prices to the sellers and resell cars for retail market prices, making a 10-30% margin. If you sell your car privately, you have access to higher retail prices without a middleman. For buyers, dealing directly with private sellers gives you more room to negotiate while getting the document support from us, including car financing or warranties through our partners.

HOW DO WE MAKE MONEY: A question we get frequently asked – “If you don’t get a percentage of the car price, how do you make money?” We operate as any other service-based business, charging fees for services. Many features on our platform are free. But, you also have the option to get the help you need with our paid services – such as obtaining a car history, registering your car, getting a used vehicle information package from the Service Ontario etc. We always provide transparency – you as a customer are in control and have full visibility of what paid services you require for your car buying or selling process.
